Absolutely. Modern dating is beyond broken. It’s a cesspool of online dating where the least common denominator of shallow behavior dominates. your online profile has almost ZERO correlation with who you really are a person. Online dating has done nothing less than destroy our culture through loneliness and desperation. And worse yet, online dating has almost eliminated the culture of meeting in person and the venues along with it. Especially the less mainstream ones like LGBT, over 35/40, people passionate about certain hobbies / lifestyles.

What causes this, is the same thing that is destroying our political conversations, a healthy media, politics, jobs, etc. An excessive reliance on online, and all the virulence and disinformation, and obfuscation, and winner take all that goes along with it.
