According to the Fermi Paradox, we’re screwed…the evidence suggests that intelligence civilizations may ultimately destroy themselves. Our technology grows geometrically, driven by a small percentage of the population. It doesn’t seem feasible to allow for the rest of population to deal with this change, especially when that very same technology is designed to make us fight each other, cause depression (so we buy their products)
