And you gotta wonder how much of the hydrogen is GREEN hydrogen (i.e. created with renewable non-carbon sources) vs. other types of hydrogen which mostly produce greenhouse gases, many of which produced a TOTAL carbon footprint which is worse than fossil fuels! (Other than Pink hydrogen which comes from Nuclear energy).

I was an environmental lobbyist, most of the time industry and government LIE about the TOTAL carbon footprint of solutions like EV's and hydrogen vehicles in order to boost their reputation, business, ego, etc. (Reminds me of companies that LIED about low cholesterol potato chips being healthy when they were loaded with trans fats). There is a fine line between LYING and just BEING STUPID, so be careful, especially when listening to anything the government and industry says.
