Any project like this (we don’t really know what the results will be no matter how smart those involved are), will require extremely strong management - is it possible to do a limited deployment and monitor the results (short term and long term) and not get influenced by politics / optics? People will often boldface lie, delude themselves, or put a charismatic moron in when it comes to saving face or ensuring the dollars flow. I don’t trust politicians and I don’t trust business leaders (including the “smart billionaires”).
