Anything that concentrates power among a small group of people without their interacting with real people is evil (e.g. managers who shut down an office without going there, people who hate Jews or Gays but don’t know any). Internet technology today is largely a means to concentrate power, and the various stories in the various religions are all metaphors for the inevitable human desire to take power.
