As a trans woman I understand this perspective and I think it’s makes sense. (Given that I have no reason to believe the author doesn’t have positive intent).

I think it’s an interesting question to ask. But I think it depends on the details of what went on in the meeting. Certainly makes sense to have a trans woman invited to the meetings. But what if it gets to a point where the trans perspective is beginning to move the meetings into a different direction. I know trans women have a very big interest in what it means to be a woman, but that’s not necessarily something that you want to dominate a conversation in a group like that.
