As a trans woman, whenever I get abusive behavior towards me about being trans, it’s almost always from other transgendered people! Typically because they don’t consider me to be a “real” transgendered person for some crazy reason…that is all about their personal issues and not me.

This just goes to show that in the vast majority of cases, abuse towards trans and other minorities is about the emotional state of the abusive person not about facts. I think most of us know this, but always good to remember this.
