Calling out stupidity has failed miserably with ALL of my adult friends who have gone to the dark side (taking the easy way out). Same is true with others I know. People just are way too self centered and rather die and/or destroy their children’s future than admit they were wrong, in which case they would have to redefine themselves and how they see the world in a more complex way. (But that would be too much work and they would no longer be the center of attention.)

Calling out stupidity does however send a strong message to our youth, who need to know that not all adults have gone down the dark path of supporting and being stupid. So if we can make it long enough, for many of these adults to eventually die (eg maybe 5+ years), hopefully society will rebalance itself.
