Einstein’s theory of general relativity says (among many things) that you can’t distinguish between gravity and acceleration, therefore they are the same thing. (The elevator with no windows)

Similarly, you can’t really distinguish between malice and stupidity (in part because people play dumb or are intellectually lazy when they want something to be true that perhaps isn’t). Thus, I hold people accountable for their actions. And after they screwup if you ask them to correct it, all that matters is if they work with you or copt an attitude. (i.e. those that act with malice, are far more likely to copt an attitude)
