Facebook is a double edge sword in my San Francisco underground world with the sharpest most dangerous side driving the destruction of our community. On one hand it keeps people informed and cohesive about events and important topics. On the other hand it is a primary factor in the closing of our most precious meeting places (eg no more Lesbian or Trans clubs left) and institutions (Bay Guardian) as people meet online instead of in person (lame for a grand city) and get drowned in the cowshit all over social media.
