From what I can tell, Hollywood is in a death spiral (declining revenues, massive box office $$$$ failures) that is in part their own creation and people on both side are fighting for what's left. Looks like nobody wants to admit they are all feeding off a dead carcass.

How did they end up in this situation? Seems like:

- Massive competition from more interesting and lower cost content from Netflix, YouTube, Tik Tok, etc.

- Banking on recycling old brands like superheros instead of evolving like the movie industry did in the Mid 60's bringing on directors such as Coppola, Lucas, Speilberg, etc.

- Poor management of their finances

The writers and actors have been partaking in this shit dead carcass....is that their fault? The smart ones would have jumped ship to these non-Hollywood (Whatever exactly that means I'm not sure) efforts a while ago.
