Here we go again with abortion being used as a political football

All of sudden Georgia, Alabama, and now Missouri are pushing through a high-profile anti-abortion agenda. Those involved don’t give a rat’s ass about an unborn child or women’s rights. They are really more concerned with:

Getting political power: If you feel irrelevant, become outraged at something, it doesn’t matter what it is, along as you can recruit people to your cause.

Distracting the population: from paying attention to critical issues such as:

  • International Trade: For example, with China
  • Diplomacy: For example, how our relationship with Iran will affect the future of our country, oil, and the military industrial complex
  • Climate Change: This is incredibly complicated and costs money, so let’s avoid it as much as possible. It won’t affect, us, only our children and grandchildren, and millions of other species, so why worry about it

Getting Trump Re-elected: Why not start now and prime the pump for next year’s election to shift the conversation to something that aligns with Trump’s supporters and swing voters and is simple vs. all that complicated stuff about trade, diplomacy and climate change.

George W Bush got re-elected in large part by claiming that a ban of gay marriage was an issue of the most critical national important. Is this a joke? ….But it worked! And since that’s gotten old, let’s dust off the abortion issue, that worked well in the past. Tsk Tsk you sick disgusting morons. (Or maybe we shouldn’t blame most of these folks because they might actually be stupid or ignorant enough to believe in this stuff, that’s not really their fault is it? Who’s fault is it then?)

Hopefully, this charade will galvanize more of us vs. them.
