I can think of one. Social Media has amplified our desire to be the center of attention and make the world about us, and it’s very successful (at least in some of our minds). If you make everything about you, you won’t be able to solve any complex problems.

But if you ask, what can we do about social media. Yea, I don’t know, maybe the Fermi Paradox explains it…it’s the conundrum of all time…intelligent civilizations will destroy themselves for precisely this reason and there isn’t anything we can do about it any more then then the eventual death of the universe via entropy and the expansion of the fabric of space.
