I do actually, even read a book about it. Seems like it failed because there was no business model, and one of the founders I think committed suicide after they went after him for publishing information I think that came from MIT.
We need social media platforms that emphasize logic vs being akin to a wrestling match primarily as a way to score, brownie points and likes. But of course, you have to figure out a business model for that. It could be one of these things that could be used by mostly those collaborating to solve specific problems, so maybe there is a way for a new business model. i’m working on that this coming year, hopefully with some other folks, because if we don’t do this, there’s no point in doing anything else. Social media as it exist will destroy our society if we don’t find a counter balance to it. We have no choice.
