I was an environmental lobbyist and activist for over two years, living on almost no income because I wanted to make a difference. And how much support, encouragement and/or engagement did I get from friends, relatives, and colleagues?

ZERO.

Looks like people rather talk about their favorite TV shows, Taylor Swift, etc.

I’m done. We’re getting what we deserve.
