I find it interesting that whenever men claim about how shallow and manipulative and fake women often are, men are almost universally blasted by women for being misogynistic, as if there was no truth whatsoever in this statement. Yet a substantial number of women acknowledge that they are being significantly influenced by social media, magazines, the media to be this way. Why the disconnect?
I’m sure much of it has to do with the implications that it’s women’s fault, when it’s not. I’m sure a lot of men think that it’s women’s fault. But would it not be more productive for some women to acknowledge this but clarify the cause? It’s extremely rare to see a woman do that. It’s like criticizing women is a taboo, it it’s ok to slam men all the time…and they are also brainwashed in a different way.
The powers that be love this, because now we are fighting each other instead of recognizing who the real enemy is…those in power.
