I found the gap between who you are on the inside and how people see you on the outside for many of us to be so massive that I just gave up straight dating and became a woman. And I learned quite a few things.

It’s hard to describe the massive differences in being a women (I wrote a book about it soon to be published). Firstly there are so many differences between romance and casual fun, and and it is SO much easier having fun as a woman, this changes everything about life. And that changes the way you see romance. So romance becomes very much about sexual chemistry and that is extremely complex and irrational. The biggest mistake I made as a man was thinking romance is about your soul, your non sexual passions (life passions), being a good person. Sadly that is largely not the case, if that’s what you want, find that in your friends and get a dog. But some people get lucky, and the sex and romance line up.
