I like the idea of using other platforms for better community creating, but they’re all pretty weak. Facebook private groups seems to work well below a certain number of people (eg 10 -30) and better in larger number of there is a core group. Facebooks notification and comment thread features are prob almost the best.

And I also wonder about schemes to managing network survival and growth — attracting new members or networking with other groups in an affiliation.

It seems to be there is a gap in the market and a potential opportunity if somebody pulls it off.
