I like to think that since there are vastly more of us regular folks than the “elite” we can effect change. But I keep getting reminded that “organized greed is more effective than disorganize democracy”.

For example i started lobbying work for the oil industry and then moved to green energy. I could not survive or stand working with the green folks. They were idealistic, disorganized and obnoxious, and i couldn’t earn anything close to a survivable living. I longed to work with very professional people in the oil industry. Well at least I can say I tried.
