I live in San Francisco and yes the big joke about dating is that nobody (Across all age groups) can afford to date, so everybody goes right to the sex (cheap pleasure) and if it’s good, then start thinking about maybe dating. This is probably getting to be the case in many large cities.

I believe the lack of dating and the emotional support that goes with it is creating a lot of anxiety and social problems. But the corporate world probably likes it because it appears to result in people who work harder (have no personal life) and have no emotional support at home so it’s easier to abuse the workers (they’re more likely to take it)
