I understand, but what do you expect these companies to do, stop making their products? That’s like asking a snake to stop being a snake or for a defense attorney to only defend people they know to be innocent.

I was an environmental lobbyist. People are not engaging in organizing to pressure politicians and corporations. That’s my personal experience…lots of talk on social media and in bars, but zero engagement. It’s at least equally our fault, probably much more so our fault.

Citizens, stop expecting politicians and corporations to stop behaving like politicians and corporations without your engagement.
