I was a green energy lobbyist. It is absolutely true that pretty much nobody cares about the environment enough to do all the extremely hard work over years that will be required. I spent two years of my life as an environmental lobbyist and got ZERO support. Not a single person wanted to do anything other than talk about it at parties and occasionally post about how much they “care”.

Two things will galvanize this:
1) Massive hurricanes, floods, famine, etc
2) Young people (who have the most to lose and the most energy and time) galvanize and ORGANIZE.

Which do you think will happen first?
