I was a lobbyist, and when i switched to focusing on green energy, it was too difficult to get anything useful done. There was no corporate lobbying money behind protecting earth (eg no insurance business focused on the commons and our future). Usually there are financial interests on both sides of an issues. Not with the environment, not in a corporate government .
