I was a Software engineer for a long time, now I’m an architect. I work half the amount and make twice the money. Job is intense because I have responsibilities , but I’m good at in, and the SW geeks don’t have the communications and design and soft skills to do my job. They are such geeks, they couldn’t architect their way out of a paper bag.
