I was an environmental lobbyist specializing in the power grid and EV’s. I concur with most of this. The problem I ran into is that this is so complicated, people want to believe so badly that they can just buy an EV and wave the green flag, and EV manufactures have new sexy products to sell…that i see very few paying attention to the big picture. People will believe what they want to believe…especially with something complicated and hard to measure.
