I was involved in the EV’s relationship with the power grid and this is spot on. (Also as the demands on the power grid increases, it typically gets more dirty). Whenever I covered any of these issues I was either fired or marginalized. (I won’t get into the details here). People don’t want to know the real truth especially if they can’t easily measure it.

I was also an environmental lobbyist…the level of ignorance, incompetence, and outright stupidity in congress is hard to believe. (It’s worse than most people can even imagine). But Congress is giving people want they want …. Living in a false narrative…while creating economic opportunity for new technologies (which is all they really care about)…so much easier than reality.
