If he is destroying it on purpose, then what is his motivation.? Was Twitter promoting causes that he doesn’t like? (Eg mostly liberal?).

It seems far more likely that he wants to exert control over the balance of material on Twitter, or has some twisted free speech idealism, or he’s just an egomaniacal, hubris filled idiot savant.
