If Trump gets elected, then that definitely proves that Democracy doesn’t work (at least in the US). Will be interesting to see if anything replaces it other than autocracy - eg a somewhat balanced aristocracy, who is just trying to keep society stable and not subject to the whims of so many moronic citizens who will have proven they can’t be trusted with the responsibility of a democracy.
