If you had to pick something / someone and lay blame it would clearly be Us - the masses (Ie Human Nature). We glom onto BS peddled to us by politicians, various personalities and media companies, etc which are designed to give them power by dividing us (hate, US vs Them sells). We don’t know how to spend our time engaging in politics as a citizen and don’t even try- we want simple solutions (politicians are like lawyers, they respond to people who pay them or put organized pressure on them). We watch way too much junk TV/videos which rots our brain. We get way too attached to the group think branding spewed out by both political parties and will fight to the death for our team and to validate the decisions we made in the past because we don’t want to admit we’re wrong or change teams. I could go on, but you get the point.
