I’m friends with guys like this. They equate reasonable waiting periods for assault rifles as “taking our guns away”. They are susceptible to political and media manipulation because yes their lives suck and this defines their manhood. And in the process they unwittingly support politicians who support many other nefarious schemes because they simply put this gun BS Rhetoric as more important than ANYTHING else. And then they call themselves patriots. We need to figure out how to reduce the crushing blow of globalization and competition to give people better choices.
