I’m trans and I concur this happens a lot and I have personally experienced this many times and have asked people to please tone it down a bit and consider other people’s viewpoint. Most often they refuse and double down. There are assholes everywhere and trans people are no exception.

It’s not easy being trans. For many reasons. I think the community needs more good leaders. There are many out there, but sadly, like in every community, you get more attention and fulfillment being louder than others.
