It’s sad that so many parents worry so much about what others think, they are incapable of putting their child first, awesome to see you support her like this and describe it in a very simple and logical way.
For me it didn’t bother me that I was a boy, it bothered me that I was being told constantly what a boy was and thus who I should be (sports addict, objectify girls, Jazz was for fags, etc- all manufactured BS). It wasn’t until I became trans as an adult that I really understand what a “man” was and how it is a travesty that our culture manufactures these definitions largely for commercial reasons.
I’m sure you will find joy in how your children evolve and discover themselves and their relationship with the outside world over the years. ;)
