They don’t know the facts, they don’t care, they are bias by their own preconceived notions that fit their narrative, and they want to be at the center of attention and feel like a hero. And social media is precisely the drug that is fine tuned to give them what they want and make tons of money for the corporate machine - which uses that money to fine tune the hamster wheel machine even more to get more money and power.
