I’ve been a man, now I’m mostly a woman. If I express my feelings and passionate as a man, I’m mostly ridiculed and rejected. As a woman they love me. Women say they want a man who can express his emotions…but in my experience, mostly not true in practice.
I’m a woman but not because I prefer to present as a woman, it’s because people like me a lot better. (Ie they don’t like an emotional man, and they certain don’t want a man in the workforce showing empathy and thinking about what’s good for the employees motivation and long term planning…the system naturally rewards those who show easily measurable short term results..everything else be damned)
I don’t see any way to change any of this..other than waiting for a new generation to set new norms.
