My first reaction to the post is that you shouldn’t be singling out a demographic, because that could be construed as prejudiced or racist. Then I realized I slam white dudes all the time because they are exempt from any rules about prejudice or racism for two reasons:
1) They have had every benefit in the world afforded to them from the day they were born relative to every other demographic.
2) They largely deserve it

But of course Facebooks algorithms don’t distinguish that point either because Facebook is run by said White Dudes or the algorithm is too stupid to draw the line in the right place (most likely the latter).

Of course what’s going on here, is the facts are irrelevant. There are so many lame, bored, depressed, lazy, angry, irrelevant people out there - they have nothing else to give themselves a sense of relevance than to troll. Facts are totally irrelevant.

You would think that these fancy “AI” algorithms would silence those who have nothing but troll behavior to contribute to our collective social / human consciousness. However, those algorithms are designed by said white Dudes who most certainly tweak them for revenue optimization, directly or indirectly putting trolls at the top of the heap. I used to be a white Dude working in tech, and I despised the ego and ignorance of such white dudes, and their WORSHIP of power, money, and tech so much, I became a woman. (I still work in tech, as it’s easy to extract the sap of a living from them, but I needed a female side to cope).
