Oh, wow somebody asked, I didn’t expect that! Where do I start? I’ll start with something that might be obvious. Most guys have a strong feminine / caring side but it has been crushed out of them since they were young. And if they try to use / express it they get marginalized or eviscerated everywhere:
1) Work - is still an environment where ruthless male principles of easily measurable results dominates (even to detriment of the business, but the male paradigm is to think short term and specializing in blaming others)
2) Relationships with women - sure many women SAY they want a “sensitive guy”, but that is largely not true in the way they actually behave. They will date the stereotypical guy, but lean on guy platonic friends for the more emotional issues
3) Family relationships - most folks don’t want to hear any complaints or complex life issues. They want to see strength - ALL the time.

So this results in men hating their feminine side because all it does is humiliate and weakens them. And then they get blamed for being too male. How ironic!

And that’s the easy and obvious one. Plenty more.
