One of the most remarkable experiences when I transitioned from a straight guy to being a t-girl is that I spoke with literally thousands of women about the struggle between reconciling my life as a man vs a woman. I learned so much about being a woman and men’s attitudes towards women and I got such great support from women about my experiences and struggles. They cheered what I learned about women and being a woman.

However, in 15 years, not a single one of these women, literally not one of them had any interest whatsoever in learning more about being a man. Not one had any interest or compassion for his struggles. I’m an entertainer and producer and I met literally thousands of women talking about this topic. And not one of them!

Even when I told several woman about this observation (my therapist, people who interviewed me, my friend, etc) they literally had nothing to say. Their face just went blank and we had to change the subject.
