Respectfully I don’t agree with you that ALL trans women were never men. Like I said in my post, many trans women are offended by the autogynephilic (AG) theory, and it has caused many of them pain. I respect and understand that. But, when I read about AG, I was relieved that there was something that described me. I know many, many transwomen who feel the same way (I lived in San Francisco a block away from a huge trans club Divas and was very active in SF, so I’ve met tons of trans women from all walks of life). So what caused you pain, gave me and many others relief. We are a smaller group, but we exist and our lives are valid.

Having others unfairly group individuals into categories that don’t apply to them is common across many demographics. But if you ask others to tolerate your differences, you should please do the same.
