Thanks for sharing, my mother is the only one has has a hard time accepting I’m trans. She’s supportive, but it hurts her to lose her son. She grieves for what he wanted and could be, and she’s right, I grieve for him too. Very much. But it was not to be, sadly. In my case, the world loves me, but had little interest in him and too few showed any caring or love for him.

The saddest part to me is that very few understand me and him. They have no idea. They just label me as trans. It’s so much more complicated than that. (But in my case I’m lucky in that I wrote a book about it and now it’s a new musical under production in NYC)
