The author did start off by making it clear she meant some men, not all men..ie men on average do these things more than woman. She didn’t make it clear later in the article in some of her verbiage which implied “all” men or “most” men but at least she made that clear at the beginning.

I think many men, possibly “most men” would concur that men have a larger tendency to exhibit these negative behaviors, probably as a result of them being in general, on average, in a more privileged position.
