The biggest problem is that humans vast intelligence is eclipsed by one thing:

Our capacity for delusion and confirmation bias when it comes to putting ourselves at the center of attention and power. We want to be heros. Even if we don’t have the skills, knowledge, energy, and resourcefulness. It’s simply easier to declare ourselves to always be right vs putting in the really hard work of actually compromising and managing.
