The bulk of the rejection is online. If you’re lucky enough to actually meet somebody in person, the in person rejection just adds insult to injury. But the reality is online has no bearing whatsoever on who you really are, so the rejection in reality is just another part of the almost complete failure of online dating and its destruction of the culture of relying more on going out to meet people.
