The sad thing about this situation is that it is so complex, there is nobody smart enough to know how to fix it, and no political system capable of conceiving a solution, implementing it and monitoring success and making adjustments. We can’t even agree to talk about this argument logically, and resolve discussion points without venom spewing out.

We can’t even get people to stop watering their lawns during this horrible drought in the Southwest - that just goes to show how totally incapable humans are at doing anything sensible when it comes to large groups. Logic is much less important vs having a society structured for cooperation.
