The scary thing is, I’m sure he (and so many other people with power) actually believes it. (Because it serves them to do so). Nobody is immune from Hubris, including Musk, who is now so disappointing intelligent people who used to admire him. And how he has a massive band of Musketeers who worship him no matter what, in the same way people worship the Orange Terd…they don’t want to put in any work to be a responsible citizen of democracy. They want to sit on the laurels of all the people in history who died for democracy and act like a spoil rich kid who pick their favorite team simply because they like the colors and it makes them feel good.
