The worship of the masculine appears to have started with the advent of agriculture and the large human settlements / cities that were enabled by it. At this point two new things happened to humanity:

1. We had assets to protect (farms, animals, permenant homes, etc)
2. We no longer feared the elements, we feared almost exclusively other humans

So worshiping nature was less relevant than worshiping the man and his ability to fight and organize to protect us against other humans from ripping us off.

So where does that leave us now? We clearly need male/female balance in a world that is eating itself up. Women don’t need physical strength these days, they need to know how the man game works. (And now that I’m a woman, I’m eager to reveal)
