There are several generic ways people view the Bible:
1) It’s literally God’s word and we can’t veer from it
2) It’s a complete crock of shit and is totally worthless…actually destructive
3) It wasn’t written by God, but contains great human wisdom and some of it bonds us together. Some is still relevant today but much is no longer relevant and is downright dangerous.



I personally believe #3. If too many people believe #1 while many use it for political purposes, we’re in trouble.
