There are two types of people that would like people to please use their pronouns. Cool people, and assholes (in all demographics there are cool people and assholes). Some people who promote the use of more gender variant pronouns are being an asshole about it (eg condemning people if they make a mistake). But most people are not assholes. Just because a minority are assholes about it, doesn’t mean that one needs to react to that and condemn all people who would like to use variant pronouns.
