This is more of same that has been happening over decades to dumb down America to achieve scalable profits and control voting patterns. But it’s now reaching a level of concentration, efficiency, and obfuscation which is staggering.
The impact on the average person is more of the same horror we’ve been seeing.
But what of the impact on those who see what’s happening and want to do something about it? What do we do? I have been struggling with this for many years. What to do?
For me personally, I move to New York City (from San Francisco) specifically to have more access to real people, in real life. I.e. a big city. I’m an entertainer so it really makes sense for me. I can express my thoughts and feelings with live music at a show and interact and influence with many oeole. Perhaps other people have their own version of this. Will this make vibrant cities more important? Exactly how? We shall see.
