Unfortunately, in a social media environment lukewarm / moderate / logical / compromising doesn’t win elections. The populace wants drama, entertainment, to feel like a hero.

I wish it was otherwise, but as we individuals grow out of the idealism of our youth we sadly realized that facts don’t count for jack shit. The details are totally irrelevant.
