Unfortunately, you’re preaching to the choir. Editors do this because it works. Media is a business. They are here to entertain people first and foremost. So who is to blame? I guess it’s the same question regarding who is to blame why people support Trump. The fact that somebody tried overthrowing the election results is doing so well on the polls just proves that human beings cannot be trusted with democracy.
